How to Choose the Right Vacuum Cleaner for Your Home
It’s almost formulaic: Lots of pumpkins, either real or fake….. Plus some bright mums, plus some corn stalks….
I picked up just two of these snowflake napkins at Target last year thinking I would make a pillow or something, but then, I didn’t.. I’ve used them here and there, just sitting on top of a side table, or whatever, but it just never seemed right.I cut my two napkins in half, so I had four strips of fabric measuring 10″ x 20″..
I laid three of the fabric pieces out on the ground end to end.I decided that was long enough and just put the fourth one on a table in the living room as a doily type thing..I used some white grosgrain ribbon to attached the pieces together and to hide the seams.
Hot glue was the attaching method of choice, of course!.I trimmed the two ends with a little extra ribbon, just for cuteness..
I had to put it on this dresser for now, just to show you, but the next time you see it, it will be looking all lovely on my new kitchen table!.
So I get a new table and a new runner to go with it.Book Writing: Everything that happens before you even begin!I was recently given the chance to try out a really fun new line of paint called Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint.
As you probably know, when it comes to paint, I don’t often stray away from my favorite inexpensive, basic paint because I find that most fancy specialty paints are usually not quite as good as they say they are, and in the end they’re not really worth the extra money or effort for me.I do love to try out different unique paints though every once in awhile, just for fun and to see what’s out there.
I was really pleasantly surprised when Black Dog Salvage Paint really was just as good as it was cracked up to be!.In case you’re wondering, yes, the paint is inspired by the same Black Dog Salvage Company that you see on the show.
